Composite Wall Bolted Splices Subjected to Wind & Seismic Loading

This sub-task focused on the development and experimental validation of bolted splice connections near the plastic hinge regions of composite plate shear walls. Three wall specimens with bolted splice connections were designed and tested. These included splices accomplished using: (i) blind bolts, (ii) non-proprietary pre-welded nuts, and (iii) threaded bars in sleeves.
